It is exactly what it says on the tin, I actually bought this for an Inspiron 1420, which is essentially a Vostro, and it fits and works awesome. The cord is actually longer than the factory supplied one which is great as now I can sit on both sides of the couch when it is plugged in. It also arrived in good time - this was an emergency purchase for me, so I was extremely happy to see this in the mailbox after only 2 days. -- Exactly what is says on the tin
