I had purchased a different look alike Dell power cord that only lasted about 6 weeks so I was forced back into this again. I have only had this cord for about a month but it works fine, it is more compact than the one that came with the computer. I hope it lasts me longer than 6 weeks (I kinda think it will). -- power cord better than the cheapo knock off

Very nice adapter! Looks like it was really made by Dell (or for Dell). Very nice quality of manufacture. So far, serves me well. It's been a couple of months, so far no problems. -- Nice and slim!

Works as described. Charges good and rather fast. However charger gets very hot so do not place near paper or soft plastic. Otherwise it is nice and thin compared to the original Dell adapter that comes with the laptop. I am using this on an Inspiron 1501. -- Dell 3rd party AC Adapter
